VINO DE SUEÑOS | Wine of Dreams

Vino de Sueños, “Wine of Dreams,” is a wine brand conceived by the non-profit human services organization, Santa Ynez Valley People Helping People (PHP) in conjunction with a select group of premium Santa Barbara County vintners. Their goal is to make a difference in the lives of the vineyard and farm workers who are the heart and soul of Santa Barbara County’s agricultural economy and more specifically, the vineyard and wine businesses. Founding participant wineries of Vino de Sueños include Alma Rosa, Buttonwood, Clos Pepe, Feliz Noche, Foxen, Longoria, and Presidio.

Becky Barieau has served as the Wine Director for VDS since its inception.

Our contributing artists have donated their work for the art auction, all to raise funds for the farmworkers who help create Santa Barbara County wines and put food on our tables.

THE VINO DE SUEÑOS SEAL | The (Re)Design

For the (Re)Launch of Vino de Sueños, Kros Andrade refreshed our original icon and we are proud to introduce a new Vino de Sueños Seal. Our contributing wineries will maintain their respective labels.

Karina Puente, a Mexican-American artist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a product of the Santa Ynez Valley and its local schools. She created the original art piece which became the dream “icon” at the center of each label which identifies it as part of the Vino de Sueños brand.

Tying art and wine together on our VDS brand labels is graphic artist, Kros Andrade of UVA Design Studios. Kros, who grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley, was immediately interested in volunteering his services to support farm and vineyard workers. For the past fourteen years, he has created a beautiful collector’s set of individual labels that are representative of our unique brand.
